Policies to KNOW

  • Group Classes will be ending 12/31/23. Any class purchases made must be used by the ending date.
  • Memberships are non-transferable. Memberships include regular group classes.
  • All sales are final. There are no refunds on private sessions, classes, workshops, trainings or class series registration. For some workshops, it is possible to receive studio credit with at least 24 hours cancellation notice.
  • Private sessions are booked by appointment. If you need to reschedule, 24 hours notice is required. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a new session.
  • Membership changes/cancellations require 30 days written notice to info@kuleyoga.com
  • Advanced Registration required for all classes within one hour of start. All cancellations for group classes must be made 1 hour or more in advance. No shows and cancellations within the 1 hour window will be charged for the class. Members are expected to cancel their reservations if they do not plan to attend.
  • Payment for services is due before or at the time of service. If reservations do not reflect in our system, one will need to be created along with payment.
  • Doors will open 10 minutes prior to the start of class, we suggest you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start of class to check in, get settled and take a deep breath. Respect your fellow yogis and arrive on time. Late arrivals beyond 5 minutes will be admitted at the teacher’s discretion.
  • When you arrive, please come in quietly, and find a space your shoes/keys/phone and or bag.
  • Please silence your phone upon arrival and leave it outside of the practice space. Part of the magic of yoga is soothing that part of us that’s always on alert. Yay for opportunities to set it aside.
  • Bring your own yoga mat. If not, no worries, we have mats to lend (until you get your own), no charge. Please bring a towel if you perspire.
  • Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances and perfumes. Other students may be allergic and it helps to create a neutral environment for all. Scents matter.
  • No student who is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other mind altering substances (including some medications) shall attend group classes, workshops, trainings, or other events. This is for the safety of the student and group environment.
  • Classes will have substitutions from time to time and teachers for a specific class time may change. There is a variance in the way each teacher offers yoga. Some classes will have more philosophy or meditation, while others have more movement and challenge. The student assumes responsibility when joining class to not go beyond their physical or mental capacity. Teachers give options and variations. Upon joining any yoga class, student asserts they are physically and mentally healthy to attend. If a student is at high risk for injury or has specific individual needs, a group class environment may not be right for them. Private yoga is likely a better choice.
  • There are students who may require a level of care beyond our scope of service. The studio has the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
  • We encourage teenagers to attend yoga! Their bodies and minds need it. Those ages 16 and older may attend class on their own.
  • Kids between the ages of 12-15 years old may attend class with an adult. Keep in mind, they need to be able to stay still and comfortable in shavasana for up to 10 minutes.
  • Kids ages 11 and under can attend kids classes when offered.
  • Let us help you find a class or offering that’s right for you. Email us at info@kuleyoga.com or ask your teacher what he/she/they may recommend.
